BARCO was founded in 2020 with an ambition to facilitate an annual carnival that celebrates Black culture. Fast forward to now and we are gearing up for our 5th consecutive carnival!
Our team is completely made up of volunteers from the local community. Our ethos is 'for us, by us, with us' and we welcome offers of support.
We partner with a variety of organisations and businesses in our community to make this a collaborative initiative.
It was nothing short of amazing! Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the day, keep locked into socials for photos and videos of the day coming soon.
The Parade was awesome, with samba band, steel pan and dancers.
The Main stage was non stop vibes, the Kustom Vibes stage, Acoustic stage and DJ Tent where all amazing.
Well done Brighton - Building Alliance Solidarity & Hope.
